A Spin class lasts for about 45 minutes. Your Spin instructor plans the terrain for your class, and sets the ride to music. Aside from being great fun, you will get fitter faster than you thought possible. Spin couples cardiovascular training with resistance training and burns fat. Spin will help you take cms off your bottom and shape your legs.

Spin is a class for all ages and all levels of fitness. Participants can set their own level of intensity by adjusting the bike’s resistance. Also, Spin is low-impact, so it’s easy on the body and joints.

The most commonly asked question asked by women is "Will it give me big legs?" The answer is no. The big legs we see in professional cyclists come from climbing mountains for hours on end. In a Spin workout you climb for minutes. The short answer is that Spin will tone and shape the leg muscle but will not build them into those of an Olympic weightlifter.
